RELIGIOUS EDUCATION 

Last Friday week we celebrated Mission Day beginning with an All Saints/ All Souls Day Mass led by Fr Michael. Special thank you to Paul Richardson (staff) for making and painting a white wooden cross for us to use for this and future Masses. Some children were guided by Lesley in lighting the candles as a symbolic message representing God’s shining light  to help guide us along the way.

Once again, another terrific effort from our children, staff and families in raising an impressive amount of money for Catholic Mission. The local communities in Ethiopia will benefit from the money we raised on Sacred Heart Mission Day. 

This will go towards developmental programs in Ethiopia addressing malnutrition, the lack of access to education for young children, and the vulnerable position of women in society.
