Year 5

Year 5 Leadership Workshop

This week, Year 5 were lucky enough to participate in a wonderful Leadership workshop with Mr. Cameron Brown. The children did loads of challenging, fun activities to strengthen their leadership qualities. They engaged really well in practising their listening and communicating skills, and in learning what it means to be a good leader. The children shared some insights into what they learned during the course of the day.

“You can start being a leader at a young age, you don’t have to wait until you are older!” - Victoria.

“There is a difference between a leader and leading” - Emilia.

“I leapt out of my comfort zone by working and communicating with people other than my better friends. I feel like a leader now. I had a great time.” - Antony.

“It’s about the little things” - Josh.

“I loved how co-operative everyone was as the challenges got progressively more difficult ” - Joey.
