Sacramental Programme 2023

If your child is preparing to receive a Sacrament next year, please find below dates regarding the Sacramental program for 2023. The full letter can be found on the OLSH 

Christmas Concert with Michael Mangan

 The students are so excited about our end of year School Christmas Concert. We have begun practising our songs and we warmly welcome all parents, family and friends to come and join in the fun. 

Students will be asked to dress in a festive Christmas outfit. Below is an outline of what each grade will be wearing for their item. We thank you in advance for your support.

Sunday 27th November - First Sunday of Advent

Advent is the beginning of the liturgical year of the church.  The Advent wreath is circular to help us reflect upon God’s never ending love for us. The Advent wreath is green to signify hope. This Sunday is the first Sunday of Advent. On Monday the students will participate in a prayer service, where our Faith and Justice leaders  will light the first candle - the candle of hope.

Lord our God, We praise you for your Son, Jesus Christ: He is Emmanuel, the hope of the people. He is the wisdom that teaches and guides us, He is the Saviour of every nation.
