I hope everyone has had a wonderful week and enjoyed the Melbourne Cup public holiday, spending some quality time with friends and family. This week has been another busy week with many things happening around the school. As usual, I have a few important reminders and announcements to make.
College Captains 2023
Today I would like to announce that Jay Skarpona and Lexy Apostolopoulos have been voted in as our College Captains for 2023. This is a fantastic achievement for both Jay and Lexy who have both grown as leaders during their time at Red Cliffs Secondary College. I sincerely thank all students who put their hand up for this position as college captain. Going through the process and presenting a speech to the school is an achievement in itself. I have no doubt that our school is in safe hands with Jay and Lexy leading the way, you have the respect of all staff and students, and I look forward to assisting you in your leadership journey
Netbooks
Next week we will not have any netbooks to loan out. Could parents please remind students to bring their own to be used in the classrooms. We have many students who were issued netbooks through state school relief funds, so it would be much appreciated if these could be
Year 11 Exam timetable
Year 11 exams will commence in Week 7. A timetable has been created and will be released in the coming days.
Year 8 Camp
Our Year 8 students will be departing for Halls Gap on Monday the 7th November. With the rain clearing up and the sun coming out, staff and students are in for a wonderful time.
Again, I would like to wish our Year 12 students well who are halfway through their VCE exams. The light is at the end of the tunnel, it will all be over very soon. Keep the head down and remain focused for two more weeks.
