Congratulations to all of our students who trialled last Friday at the Diocesan Touch Football Carnival.  A massive shout out to Zac Robinson for making the team. Zac will be travelling to Parkes in March next year to trial for the Polding Team.

St Edward's Basketball

Basketball Report for the St Edward's Cyclones:

Unfortunately, the Cyclones lost to 41-38 to Timbumburi last week, but what a game! We played like a world class team! Each one of the students gave their absolute 100% all the way to the final buzzer!  We cheered our mates on, with no matter what the outcome.

It was an emotional end for us all as this was the final year as a team, before their next adventure to Year 7. It was awesome to see other St Edward's students come down to cheer them on, just shows what a great culture St Ed's is providing for our children.

Basketball Report for the St Edward's Opals:

Congratulations to the Opals on receiving Runners-up in the Grand Final.

On Thursday, 17th November, the Opals took on the Timbumburi Tornadoes in the decider. After a close first half, the score was 4 - 2 to the Tornadoes. The Tornadoes slipped away in the second half with the Opals going down 20 - 6. The Opals put in an amazing effort all season.

The team would like to thank Coach, Emma Noad, and other parent helpers who have assisted and scored throughout the season.

Northern Knights OzTag

Jacinta-Dean Hoffman, Gracie Kelly, Ebony Pepperell and Anika Boney all played in the Under 12’s Northern Knights at the City v Country Championships in Shellharbour. An amazing effort being selected to play at this representative level in Oztag. All girls played amazingly and played some competitive games against some fierce competition.

Go Kart Championship

Sam Grande in 2B came in second place over the weekend in Newcastle for the 2022 Go Kart Championships. Congratulations Sam!
