Winter Reading....

With the cold weather really setting in it's a great opportunity to sit back with a book. Our students have been looking at new books that are delivered on approval and have been helping decide which ones we should purchase. They have enjoyed looking at a range of fiction and non fiction titles and books for different year levels.   Having a say in new books  has increased the number of students reserving them . It is lovely to see them excited about borrowing and sharing their thoughts and feelings on different books.

Earlier in Term one we ran a parent workshop "Let's Read". We had many people attend and enjoyed our presenter Sarah talk about the benefits of reading with your children. Through this program we were able to access a range of bilingual books for our library. We thank the Smith Family Organisation for their donation.

Presently with  COVID restrictions we are not encouraging parents and caregivers to visit the library and borrow but once the restrictions are lifted we will be  inviting you all back in. We look forward to that time....
