Manningham Division Girls AFL

On Wednesday 26th June we held our first ever Manningham Division Girls AFL day, we had 20 girls represent Milgate in our team. The girls played against the 7 other schools who attended the day. Our girls played extremely well and were undefeated after 3 matches. This then placed them in the Grand Final, where we played Andersons Creek PS. Our girls played an extremely good match and defeated Andersons Creek PS 27 – 6. The girls will now continue onto the Eastern Region Girls AFL Day on Tuesday 6th August. Many thanks to Ms. Harvey-Beavis and Kieran Rice (work experience student) who helped coach the girls on the day. We look forward to hearing how you go in the next round. Good luck girls.
