Spotlight on former DSC student Alexandra Christou (nee Wragg) - Class of 2006

There are always people who have known from a young age what they want to do with their life. But as Alexandra puts it, “You don’t have to decide your life path at 16 or 17. You can follow your own path and take some time to decide what sparks passion.” Now married with two children, balancing full-time work and being a mum has been challenging but “an incredible opportunity”.

She has progressed through many different roles since leaving school from being a Secretary in residential Real Estate, Account Administrator for a Maximum-Security Prison to now Westpac Facilities Operations Manager. For Alexandra, this unexpected career path quickly grew into a passion and shows that you don’t necessarily need a set path and end goal to achieve a fulfilling career.
