Parents & Friends

It takes a village to raise a child.

Season’s Greetings St Justin’s Community

Well after two years of Covid interruptions it has been great to get back to some form of normality. The P and F aim to give the community the opportunity to form friendships, raise some money and ultimately make St Justin’s a great school for our children’s formative years.

This year has seen various lunches made available throughout the year. Always a good day when sandwiches are not on the to do list. We have experienced the colour run, a trivia night, school disco and a Ladies night. Working bees have been run, election day and Bunnings BBQ’s have been cooked. A few of the kid’s other favorite things eventuated this year too, Mother’s and Father's Day stalls and kiosk Fridays. Congratulations to all the winners of the Easter raffles, trivia raffles and Christmas raffles too. Hot cross bun fundraiser and working Bees also kept people involved.

There are too many people to thank individually but all these events and activities could not be possible without the generosity of so many parents at St Justin’s. Whether you have taken the lead on organising an event this year, turning a sausage at one of the BBQ’s or bagging up one of the special mid term lunches, Thank you! St Justin’s would not have the community feel we all experience without you.

A special thanks to the P and F Executive team this year for your support and guidance. After years of volunteering Peter R is stepping aside as Vice-chair this year so if anyone is interested in the position, please let us know. Thanks Peter, for your time and expertise. First meeting for the year will be Tuesday 7/2/2023 7pm in the staffroom. I invite you all to come along, share your ideas, volunteer your time and meet some new people. Let’s keep building on that 2022 community spirit.

Merry Christmas to all our St Justin’s families.
