New Faces, New Roles

Some New Faces ...

Mr Rosario Ripper - Instructional Leader Visual Arts and Technology

Hello there, my name is Mr. Rosario Ripper. I will be this year’s Instructional Leader for Visual Arts and Technology at Nazareth College. I am also teaching VCE Visual Communication Design (VCD), VCE VM Design and Technology, Maths and VCD across different year levels, and taking a McCormack House Pastoral Group. I came to Nazareth College back in 2019 as a pre-service teacher and enjoyed my time here with the staff and students. Since then, I have regularly returned to cross mark and write SACs for VCE VCD with Ms. O’Brien. For the past three years I have been a teacher of VCE VCD, Design Technology and Maths at Ashwood High School. I am keen to bring my experiences, resources and rigour from my previous school, and experiences as an Industrial Designer, to my practises here at Nazareth College. Outside of school, I am a warehouse supervisor at Campion Education. Additionally, I help judge (meaning: officiate) local, interstate, and international Pokémon events. Last year, I was over in London, UK, representing Australia as the Assistant Head Judge for the Pokémon Go event at the incredible Pokémon World Championships!

I am looking forward to my time here at Nazareth College!

Ms Leonie Lisiecki - Human Resources Manager

My teaching career saw me working in a number of schools including St Bernard’s College Essendon and Marcellin College Bulleen. In my final years at St Bernard’s, I was head of Student Services - this experience prompted a change in direction and I retrained as a psychologist.  After a number of years as a school-based psychologist I moved into the role of  Education Officer at Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools working in both the Wellbeing and Leadership Departments.

I am really looking forward to working with the Nazareth community and getting to know you all. When not working I enjoy yoga, pilates, travel (severely curtailed these past few years!) finding new and exciting dining experiences and spending time outdoors enjoying everything the Mornington Peninsula has to offer.

... and Some Familiar Faces

Ms Angela Beilby - Senior Studies Coordinator

Angela has been our International Manager for the past two years.  This year she has taken on the Senior Studies Coordinator role as well.  As she is an organised and efficient person, we have no doubt that she will manage her roles with her normal exuberance and flair.  Oh, and she'll be teaching her beloved Science, too.

Ms Antigone Kappas - Head of House Mannix

Antigone started at Nazareth in 2022.  She has proven herself to be a good communicator and has a great rapport with staff, students and parents/guardians/carers.  Her enthusiasm for physical fitness and health are well known to the Nazareth Community.

We know that the students in Mannix House will be well supported by Antigone.
