Junior School Council

The Junior School Council is an elected group of Years 3 to 6 students representing each class who share and consider ideas to better our school, local and global communities. It is the role of a Councillor to consider all of their class member's needs and suggestions and be the voice for them. Being chosen as a JSC Captain or Vice Captain is an honour. A Junior School Councillor represents their class by attending regular meetings, depending on the school's needs at the time. Meetings are held at lunch time, commencing at lunch eating time at 1.30pm.

The Junior School Council consists of two Captains and two Vice Captains from each Year 3 to 6 class, elected by their class. The two JSC Captains will represent their class for the whole year. The two JSC Vice Captains represent their class for one semester.

Years 3 to 6 classes have been informed this week about the upcoming opportunity to represent their class on the JSC, and the election will be held in week 3. The first JSC meeting will be in week 4.
