Netball

Last Saturday was the round of netball that both the U15 and U18 College teams were looking forward to. These two teams finally had the chance to go head-to-head in what was a thrilling game of netball, with many twists and turns. The U15 College team started off strongly scoring the first three goals against the College U18 team. From there it was neck and neck with each team constantly fighting for the upper hand in the game. After the first two quarters the U18 College team started to pull ahead. 

There was an immense effort given by all players for the whole match, however, the U18’s ended up taking the win 27-13. Thank you to all the girls for a competitive match that was lots of fun.

This is our final week of the season.  There are two games for the U18 team, and 1 for the U15 team.  Thank you to all players who have put in a great effort this season at the games and training

Again, a HUGE THANK YOU to the managers and umpires; Lisa, Scott, Suse, Tessa (and Susie as a fill-in) – being able to call on you regularly and your willingness to help is so very much appreciated.

Term 1 looks like it will be a 6 week season, and will be slightly different: they are going to trial teams in year levels – eg Year 7s and 8s together, rather than on birthdates.  

Look out for information early on in the school year.
