Formal Dinner – Term 4

Farewell Justin Corbidge

This week our long serving MOD Justin Corbidge said farewell to the Boarding House. For 10 years Justin has been a valued member of the boarding community. He has witnessed hundreds of boarders come through our doors and worked with four different Directors. Justin is not just a loyal employee of College, he is best described as an eternal optimist, one who is constantly pleasant and loves a chat. Justin is going to miss working with boarders and watching them grow into young adults. Naturally charismatic, Justin will also miss getting to know and care for each boarder and understanding each and everyone’s unique background. He has enjoyed learning about different cultures and languages, and sees that one of the best traits in our College is how accepting they are of all.

Going forward, I have no doubt that Justin’s life will be busy. He and his wife, Christine, will continue working their family horsemanship business and Airbnb accommodation and will take some time to consider what the next stage of his life will bring.

“After 10 years and three months, my chapter in the Boarding House is up. A huge thanks to all the boarders I have cared for, and to my colleagues that l have met over the years. All the best for 2023 and beyond”

On behalf of all boarders, boarding staff, and the College, we wish you all the very best and look forward to farewelling you in the final week.
