St Brigid’s Mingle and Jingle end-of-year Concert and BBQ – Thursday 15th December 2022. 5pm sharp start for lots of special Christmas fun. Maybe even a special surprise visitor so don’t be late!!! Details below.

Hot dogs $3.00 and Bake Sale all items $1.00 (if you wish to contribute anything to our bake sale please clearly label it and bring along to the office on Friday 16th between 0830 - 0850. Thanks so much)

PFA at Work!

With the help of many of our Senior Students and Staff and Parents, the Gaga Pit is open for action. We have loved being able to assist, both financially and with hands on support, the Students in their push for this playground enhancement and cant wait to see it in action. The PFA contribution totals $2,300.00 +GST. Thank you to you our St Bs families who support all of our fundraising efforts throughout the years, because of you all, this contribution and many like it are made possible.

Following on from the engagement survey feedback the PFA have recently purchased Makey Makeys at a total cost of $1,713.80. Using the Makey Makey, you can make anything into a key just by connecting a few alligator clips. It is an invention kit that tricks your computer into thinking that almost anything is a keyboard. This allows you to hook up all kinds of fun things as an input. For example, play Mario with a Play-Doh keyboard or piano with fruit! Stay tuned in coming newsletters and social media posts for photos of the Middles and Seniors doing some amazing things already!

We have also committed to purchasing new Decodable Readers for the student take home readers as well as new books for the school Library (which is looking fabulous) and Crayon Rocks. We will keep you posted on the arrival of these new items and are excited to see them all in use.
