Year 9 Melbourne Visit

This month, Year 9 students visited the Shrine of Remembrance in Melbourne as part of their studies on World War I. We received a guided tour of the Shrine that highlighted the importance of remembrance and honouring the service of Australian men and women. The WHS community can be proud of how these students represented their school and the respect that they paid while visiting this important memorial place. Fun was also had shopping, visiting the graffiti lanes and riding on various forms of public transport – particularly the trams!
