Our final goodbye to our Year 12s
What a wonderful year it has been for our Year 12 students at Wangaratta High School! Students completed their busy year with an even busier final week. Day 1 saw creativity flowing as students dressed up as a staff member for the day. Imaginations again came to the fore on day 2 as students dressed up as something beginning with the first letter of their name. Competition was tight in the traditional Staff versus Year 12s game of dodgeball. Players went throw for throw until finally the teachers let the students have their moment of glory! Well played Year 12s! Day 3 saw yet more creativity as sequins, ribbons, tie dye and even flashing lights added a unique flair to the school uniform. The final day of Year 12 Celebrations was one where the school was adorned with streamers, glitter, glad wrap and some 'interesting' staff photos! As the sun shone and the bacon sizzled, students and teachers arrived to be greeted by Dobby the House Elf, Forrest Gump, tennis players and sumo wrestlers amongst other colourful characters. Class of 2022 celebrated in style at the Graduation Dinner. After official speeches, the glamourous graduates danced the night away at The Wangaratta Turf Club. This was a fitting way to rejoice after the completion of exams.
Congratulations to all our wonderful students. Thank you for being exceptional role models and we wish you all the best in your future endeavors as you head into the workforce or further studies!
