Cadets

Cadets has officially finished for the School year, however not for 16 lucky cadets heading to Puckapunyal to attend Leadership Courses. We wish them all the best and look forward to hearing about their adventures next year. In 2023 we have a large number of senior cadets and we look forward to working with them. They will have the opportunity to extend their Cadet knowledge as well as them being supported to become better leaders.

Current year 7 students have started their Cadet experiences by completing the Defence Youth Safety Level 6 as a Cohort. They have also been very busy completing their enrolment forms and uniform sizing charts to ensure that the start of next year is smooth and with little interruption.

A reminder to Year 7’s who are still to return their forms. Can you drop them into the front desk before 9th December. Uniform online forms are also due now.

Important dates for 2023:

• 15-17th March – Senior cadet Bivouac– Year 9-12 cadets
• 16-17th March – Recruit Bivouac – Year 8 cadets
• 1-5th May – Cadet camp – All cadets
• 21st October – Ceremonial Parade
• 8-10th November – Senior Leaders Bivouac
• Further opportunities for Cadets, although not compulsory. More information will be sent out once dates have been confirmed.
  • July holidays – Specialist/ Promotions Course, Puckapunyal 
  • September holidays – Ex EMU, Puckapunyal
  • December holidays – Promotions Course, Puckapunyal

Uniform and Equipment Reminder:

All issued uniforms and equipment should have all been returned by now. Please check at home for any items that may have been missed. If you could please drop these at the front desk prior to 9th December.  Socks and boots are not to be returned.
