Fundraising

Thank you to everyone that donated to this wonderful initiative to help those in need. Thank you for your generosity and kindness; what a great way to give back to our community!

We have had a very successful year of Fundraising and I would like to thank all the families that have donated to our Fundraising activities and events throughout the year. 

I am proud to announce, that together we raised $27,000. What an incredible achievement!

These funds have helped purchase new furniture for Year 1 and Year 3 classrooms, installation of new pin boards and the upgrade of carpet in 9 rooms over the summer break. Next year, Mrs Maxwell and I would like to work more closely with the Junior School Council members to get their thoughts on what they would like to see fundraising money used for. 

I can’t quite believe just how many sausages we have sold this year…. actually I can…. we have sold 1,600! Great Ryrie shall now be known as the sausage capital of Maroondah! Thank you so much to Craig Hill and Nicole Bailey for their efforts in organising and running the sausage sizzles, and to our teachers for cooking the quantity of sausages they have in the last month. 

These events can’t occur without our committed Fundraising Team and all those parents that support events by volunteering their time to work on stalls, count money, put together hampers or distribute products.  Thank you so much!

We are saying farewell to Kylie Carlton this year who has been tirelessly working in the Fundraising space since her daughter Lucy started in Foundation. Over this time, Kylie has coordinated Fetes and was appointed as our first Parents and Friends Association President. On behalf of the entire community, I would like to thank you for your contribution and support of the school. You will be dearly missed but we wish you all the best for your future endeavours.
