NEW - Tatura Carols by Candlelight
Tatura Carols by Candlelight is back at Mactier Park, Wednesday 14th December at 6:00pm.
Sacred Heart Carols Choir will be singing two songs, all students are welcome.
Students attend with their families on the night, wearing school uniform.
I ask that parents talk to their children about whether they would like to join our Carols Choir as students will need to commit to attending each rehearsal. Practice will take place each afternoon as we approach the big day.

Thank you for your generous bids, the funds raised will go towards partition boards for future student art displays.
NEW - Writer's Workshop
Grade 3/4 and Grade 5/6 students were excited to see their chosen writing piece published in a class book. Each student had the opportunity to enter a writing piece and an illustration. Students were also encouraged to submit a book title and cover illustration for student consideration. Each class voted for their favourite and the winning ones adorn the books. The books were printed by Rodney Printers and look fantastic! Each book will be available to borrow from the school library in 2023. Well done to all students.
NEW - 3/4 Science
Scientist Grace was our guest speaker today in Science 3/4, bringing in Terry the trilobite. He is a 480 million year old fossil found in Morocco. Terry is embedded in sedimentary rock. Thank you so much McKinnon family for allowing Terry to come and visit.

Parents are asked not to give their children candy canes, lollies, etc to give other students for Christmas. We thank you for your cooperation.

Sun Protection Policy
Students at Sacred Heart are expected to wear a hat during all outdoor activities from the of 1st September to 30th April in accordance with the school's Sun Protection Policy. Parents, please support us by ensuring your child has their school hat in their bag.

Lunch Orders
Tatura Hot Bread Bakery will be providing the School lunch orders for two days a week. Lunch orders will be available Thursdays and Fridays. Please find below the 2022 price list.
A reminder orders are to be done through the School, not to be dropped off at the Bakery.
Second Hand Uniform Sales
Sacred Heart will now only be accepting second hand uniform items as a donation to the school. If families wish to sell items we request that this is done privately. Please see below the current uniform stock available for purchase. If you wish to have a browse of the uniforms or make a purchase, please see Sally in the school office on Tuesday or Wednesday.

Sacred Heart School Website

We now request parents and caregivers use the forms on the website for Outside School Hours Cancellations and Out of Uniform Notices. On the website homepage the forms are located by clicking on the following icons:
Student absences are to be completed in PAM. To access PAM parents or caregivers will need access to a computer, tablet or mobile phone. You can access PAM via the direct link below or the Sacred Heart School website.
