Principal's Report

Courage, Faith, Love
Dear Parents and Friends of St Agatha's Primary School,
Welcome to the 2023 school year! It was lovely to see all the children so ready to be back at school this week. Thank you to all the parents who made sure that their children were so beautifully dressed in their school uniforms. I really get the sense of pride in our school as I walk around talking to students and their families! It is going to be a wonderful year.
Congratulations to our newest members of the school community! Yesterday the Foundation students had their first full day. They looked so gorgeous in their new uniforms. Please ensure some happy snaps that I took when welcoming Foundation 2023.
Starting school is a significant milestone in every child's life and I am privileged to journey with each family during this time. At St Agatha's we are lucky to have wonderful teachers who are passionate about educating our students as independent, critical and creative thinkers. Mr Butler, our Wellbeing Leader, has included an article on transition in the RE & Wellbeing News page. I encourage you to have a read and watch the short video clip.
As the year unfolds, I encourage any parent who has concerns about their child's education or wellbeing to seek assistance from their classroom teacher and please remember that the exec leadership and myself are here to support you any time. Working in partnership between home and school is one of the most important factors in educational success!
I would also like to take this opportunity to congratulate Mrs Brianna Scrivener, teacher in 1S, who is expecting her first baby in June this year!
I hope that this year is a successful and fulfilling one.
Yours sincerely,
Michelle Bruitzman
