The Year 9 and 10 (2018) Information Night will take place on the evening of Wednesday 30th August.  The schedule for the evening is as follows:

Commence in Simon Auditorium

5.00pm - For students in Year 8 going into Year 9 in 2018

8.40pm -  Evening concludes

It is important that all Year 8 and 9 students and parents attend this evening to receive information concerning the camps programme and subject selection.  You will be given the opportunity to meet and speak to staff members who will represent the Pathway elective subjects that will be offered in 2018. We look forward to seeing you there.

ICAS Science Results

ICAS Science assesses students’ skills in the key scientific areas of:

Observing and measuring - Noting and measuring features of items and phenomena

Interpreting data - Interpreting diagrams, tables and graphs

Applying data - Including inferring, predicting and concluding

Investigating - Experimental design, use of controls and notion of ‘fair test’

Higher-order skills - Including reasoning and problem solving.

Merit and Participation certificates were also awarded; these were presented to students by their Science teachers last week in class. Congratulations to all students who participated.
