Congratulations...

We would like to congratulate all our Foundation students on their fabulous start to school. All of the students are settling in well and becoming familiar with school routines and expectations. Thank you to our wonderful parents and carers for your support in a smooth transition in the mornings.

This week we have begun looking at the pictures in books to help us read. You can help your child by asking them to look at the picture and explain what is happening in the story. We have also started looking at our classmates names to introduce letter-sound relationships. Each class is focussing on a different letter based on student names in their classroom. You could ask your child which letter they are learning, the sound it makes and whose name begins with that letter.

Please remember to book your child in for their English Assessment over the next three Wednesdays.
