School Safety

School Safety

All students are reminded of the need to think and act safely at all times.

This includes:

  • Ensuring that students exit the classroom in the company of their peers and before their teachers
  • Remaining in in-bound areas in the playground where there is teacher supervision
  • Following all rules regarding the kind of activity that is permitted in the various playground areas; for example, no ball games other than handball in the Quad
  • Ensuring that movement around the school is limited to walking. Running is only permitted on the courts and the oval
  • All road rules are adhered to by students if travelling by bike or car. This specifically relates to the recent dangerous practice of students riding their bikes on the road and weaving in between cars

As a school community we are highly invested in ensuring that the school is as safe a place as possible where the focus is on quality learning and respectful relationships.
