What’s happening in 4E?

4E have had such a busy Term 3 and have been on two very exciting excursions. The first excursion was to ‘The Rocks’ where we learnt about the historical development of the area. The second excursion was to ‘The Sydney Observatory’ which related to our Science Unit that we have been focusing on throughout the term. A massive thank you to the parent helpers that assisted us on the excursions. We are very grateful for your assistance!

Recently, we have been learning about geology, the different classifications of rocks and discovering how they are formed. Evie brought in numerous rocks from home. We made observations about each rock and thought about whether they might be igneous, sedimentary or metamorphic. This was an excellent experience as we got to see some rocks with unique patterns.
