Coburg On The Green

Congratulations to our Music Students! 

Congratulations to everyone who took part in our inaugural concert picnic on Friday 6 December, which has now been dubbed 'Coburg On The Green'. With over 400 people attending, it was a resounding success.

Instrumental music students and selected acts were outstanding with a major thank you to Anne Wood for her leadership of this program and for organising such an amazing line-up of performances. 

Thank you also to the band of volunteers who gave their time to set up and run the event. From checking tickets to cooking and serving food, there were so many people involved in making sure this event run smoothly that it would be hard to name them all, but a special thanks goes to Parents Association President, Liz Pye, for her leadership and coordination of the event. 

Including ticket sales, over $5000 was raised which will go towards the music program and continue to benefit our students. 

Most of all, the additional space, afforded by the outdoor location, provided an opportunity for more friends and relatives to attend with many commenting on the festival vibe of the evening and suggesting that we run it again next year - we will!
