Coburg on The Green

On Friday 6 December we had our inaugural 'COBURG ON THE GREEN', combining the Instrumental Music Concert with our CHS end-of-year celebrations for families.

The Parents Association set up a smokin' barbecue, made to order tacos, and even a licensed bar.  (A huge thanks to Liz Pye and her team for all their hard work!)

More than 130 students rocked the house with songs from the 60's to the naughties, while families relaxed on the grass and took advantage of our beautiful surrounds here at Coburg High.

Congratulations to all students who participated and all the wonderful staff who worked to make this event a success.  And thank you to the 400+ parents and families who came to support them.

Over $5000 was raised for the CHS Music Department and we are excited to see what 2020 will bring ‘on the green’.

Congratulations to the CHS Senior Jazz Ensemble for rocking the Moreland Christmas Carols concert at Coburg Lake last Saturday night. Under the expert direction of Luke McIvor they were a standout of professionalism and groove!
