Grade 3/4 

In Grade 3/4 we have enjoyed learning about Aboriginal culture. 

Our recent focus has been on Sorry Day and Reconciliation Week, a time when we work hard to encourage all Australians to be a voice for Reconciliation in our everyday lives. We explored Aboriginal art and created our own hand prints to represent belonging. We created a collaborative art piece and Reconciliation hands to represent acceptance and working together. Exploring Dreamtime stories really sparked our interest and we were able to recreate our own interpretation of the message within the stories, using oil pastel and dye wash.
