This week was the last SAKG class for the Years 5 and 6 students. We finished the program off enjoying Khao Soi (Yellow Chicken Curry) with Pear Crumble and Ice-cream for dessert! Marley, Tamsyn and Marlly made the curry paste, which had quite a kick thanks to the chillis! They learnt new techniques such as dry frying and grinding spices with a mortar and pestle. Shalmain and Lacey cut up the chicken and prepared the curry ingredients, while the Rhys and Xavier made egg noodles as the final ingredient to the curry.  Sam, Oliver, Anna and Jacinta made the tasty pear crumble which required them to poach the pears in a sweet syrup. It was a fantastic meal to end the semester! Well done Year 5 and 6's! Thanks to Danielle, Abbey, Penny and Rachael for your help throughout the term.
