Prayer for the Week

As we conclude our Winter Appeal for the Needy, we take time to pray for those less fortunate than ourselves, especially those that are homeless.

St. Augustine's School Prayer

Our Father in Heaven,

Look over and bless St. Augustine’s while we are working and playing.

Help us to respect and care for each other as you taught us to.

Give us the opportunity to do our best for you each day.

We look forward to being able to share our lives with our friends and families.

Keep us safe and give us the courage to be

people who want to know you more.                    Amen.

                          2023 First Reconciliation

First Reconciliation 2023

On Tuesday 6th June, the Year 3 students received the Sacrament of Penance, their First Reconciliation. The students were so reverent, prayerful and ready to receive this special gift from God. Joined with their families and teachers, we all witnessed them travel on this beautiful journey of forgiveness and love. 

Special thank to Miss Isabelle Maher and Miss Olivia Jones for helping prepare them for this sacrament. Thanks to Mr Stead for his support on the night.

Thank you to Fr John for supporting the students on this journey and providing the answers and insight to their inquisitive question during your chat on Tuesday too. We are very grateful to Fr John for helping the students feel at ease and comfortable with confessing the choices that they are not proud of.

It was a beautiful night and I was so impressed with how open and honest the students were leading up to this special day.

Thank you to everyone for your generous donations to our Winter Warmer Appeal.

St Vinnies have picked up the donations however if you still have donations to bring, they are still always welome.  All donations of food, warm clothing and blankets have been gratefully received. Special thanks to Ange Ilton for her beautifully hand knitted beanies and to Warlond Family for their VERY generous supply of  canned soups and fruits.

Thank you to everyone!!!! St Augustine's have stepped up again by providing some warm meals and clothing for those in need in our local community.
