Emily L. - 00M

This award is presented to Emily for her work on graphing this week in our Maths sessions. Emily created various pictographs after data she collected on different coloured unifix and sea creatures. You are a great mathematician Emily, keep up all the great work you are doing!

Leo B. - 1/2B

This award goes to Leo for his effort in his writing. Leo has worked hard to carefully plan and draft his information report, taking time to add detail and edit his writing. I am impressed with Leo’s determination to continually improve his work. Great job Leo!  

Kaiden B. - 1/2C

This award goes to Kaiden for his wonderful work in Maths this week! Kaiden has been working hard to identify the core of different patterns and using this to continue the pattern. He has also created his own patterns with set terms. Well done Kaiden! Keep up the great work!

Christopher C. - 1/2R

Congratulations Christopher for always displaying persistence when completing challenging work and for always willing to share your ideas/knowledge with fellow peers. Keep up the wonderful work! 

Jaxon H.  - 3/4B

Jaxon wrote an explanation text about the life cycle of a plant. He was able to organise his information into paragraphs and explain each stage of the life cycle. Jaxon read through his writing to edit and revise his work. Congratulations Jaxon, we love to see your work!

Eliza M. - 3/4K

This award goes to Eliza for being a kind-hearted and thoughtful class member. She has been regularly showing the HEART value of Acceptance towards a new student in our grade, by helping her feel welcome and patiently assisting her to complete daily tasks.

Well done on showing this level of empathy, Eliza. 

Jonas F. - 3/4S

This award goes to Jonas for the enthusiasm and persistence he as demonstrated during his writing over the last couple of weeks. Jonas has been writing an explanation about the water cycle and the life cycle of a plant. He has revised his writing to include time connectives and technical language. Well done Jonas.

Lakeyn E. - 5/6B

Congratulations on a terrific first semester, Lakeyn. You set a great example for your peers with your excellent behaviour and work ethic. I admire the way you take yourself off to your sessions with Alison, showing great responsibility for your learning. This award is long overdue. Keep up the great work, Lakeyn.

This award goes to Ella for her positive engagement in class discussions during Reading. This week, Ella regularly shared her ideas with her peers and was able to clearly articulate her thinking. Well done Ella!

Bailey C. - 5/6W

This award goes to Bailey for his persistent efforts in PONT Maths this week. Bailey used his problem solving skills to help him identify the different rules used for a variety of patterns and then effectively used these to continue them. Wonderful effort Bailey! Keep up the great work!

Luke H. - Performing Arts

Congratulations Luke. Your Garage Band assignment was excellent. You followed the chord progression and created a very smooth and interesting change between the A and B sections. Well done!

Medina N. - Performing Arts

Congratulations Medina. You learned all sections of Baby Shark and played it very well with both mallets. You also demonstrate excellent instrument and mallet respect.

Hayley W. - Visual Arts

This award goes to Hayley for her originality when experimenting with soft pastels and vegetable oil. After successfully smearing the oil to create her wonderful eastern rosella, Hayley creatively used a bird’s eye view of her bird soaring above the trees. Awesome, effective idea Hayley!

Patris N. - Physical Education

Well done, Patris for displaying responsibility when looking after the sports shed and the new borrowing system. You are a STAR!

Arianna L. - Mandarin

This award goes to Arianna for showing interest and enthusiasm for all class activities in Mandarin class. You actively discussed Mandarin questions with your partner, put your hand up and confidently spoke the language. I could see your obvious progress in Mandarin learning. I appreciate your efforts and keep it up!
