Year 10 Outdoor Rec

 Murray to Mountains

Ten Year 10 Outdoor Recreation students and three staff experienced a 3-day (100km) bike ride along the Murray to Mountains Rail Trail. They rode 43km from Beechworth to Myrtleford. Students demonstrated resilience, leadership and teamwork when riding in the rain and up Taylor's Gap. On Thursday they rode to Bright before participating in a hike and they finished up in Harrietville on Friday.

The purpose of this trip was for students to discover the diverse and ever-changing landscape of Northeast Victoria - from natural bushland to lush farmland, hidden valleys and some of Australia's most spectacular mountain ranges, while strengthening their enjoyment of Outdoor Recreation activities.
