Health/P.E
This week in Health/P.E
All classes in Health/P.E this week have focused on how the human body responds to physical exercise. Students were able to experiment with this on themselves by going out for an outdoor P.E session and then brainstorming all the different responses their own body had after activity. We displayed our learning on a human body template and created a diagram of the physical responses we felt, saw and heard. Some responses students came up with were sweating, heart beating really fast, heavy and noisy breathing, increased body temperature, sore and wobbly legs, dry mouths, increased thirst and many more.
All year levels were encouraged to ‘Pay it Forward’. With a focus on mental health and wellbeing, we discussed all the benefits of being kind to other people. All students were given the task to pay it forward and then we came together a week later to share and discuss what we did to make a positive difference in the world.
A huge Congratulations to Tess, Fynn, Ryleigh and Seb who made it through to Regional Cross Country on June 14th. Wishing you all the very best. We are so proud of you!
On Saturday we got new line marking on the basketball court! They look incredible!! Here are some before and after shots.
