Healthy Kids Learn Better

The health centre would like to thank all the families who have provided the required documentation for their child's health condition. The health centre will continue to remind parents when the action plans or medication are expiring. Ultimately it is the families responsibility to provide the school with updated information on their child's medical condition.

Thank you to all the families who have decided to be part of the Primary School Program. The questionnaires are slowly coming in. Can we remind the families if you do not wish to be part of the program the school needs you to return the questionnaire.

The consent page, page 5. Just tick "NO" box sign and return to school.

Find pamphlet attached with information on the program.

DOCUMENTATION

  • DOCUMENTATION - It is of utmost importance that our school is provided with up to date information. Documentation that is required has been sent to the relevant families, most recently via email. Please complete and return to the Health Centre as soon as possible.

MEDICATION

  • MEDICATION - Occasionally, students require medication while they are at school. In order to administer medication to students a Medication Authority form needs to be completed with a parent’s signature. Medications are to be provided to the school in original packaging with pharmacy labels intact. Tablet sleeves need to have the full name of the medication and expiry date intact.

AMBULANCE COVER

  • AMBULANCE COVER - A reminder, in the event of an emergency, either by accident / injury or illness, the college will call an ambulance. Please ensure your child is covered by ambulance cover if you do not have a Health Care Card. The costs incurred for an ambulance will be the responsibility of the respective parents/guardians.

COVID 19

Please be vigilant with COVID 19 sign & symptoms, if your child is unwell do not send them to school until the symptoms have resolved.

We need to keep each other safe so life can return to some sort of normality.

Many thanks,

The Health Centre Team
