The Principal's Pen

Welcome to the first newsletter for 2021. After an unexpected extra week of holidays, the College year has taken off with a flurry of activities. There is lots of information in this issue and lots more to come as we introduce new systems, including new ways to communicate with our community.

You may have already noticed the emphasis we are placing on our three values this year – respect, relationship and responsibility. These themes are going to come through in our daily College life and you will find references to them already in articles in this newsletter.

Of course, “open” is the vision word for the year and I am looking forward to how this weaves in with our values too. You might be able to make some links yourself as you consider how open communication builds respect and healthy relationships.

2021 holds great promise and the staff and I are open to what God has in store for us.
