Return to Inter-School Sport!
After a whole year of waiting CSEN Inter-School Sport is finally back. On Wednesday 10th of February St Andrews students had a great afternoon of Sport, in very hot conditions, as six of the Year 8 teams competed in various summer sports including; volleyball, cricket, basketball, softball and our wonderful fitness group.
Our Year 8 Cricket team performed admirably in a narrow loss to Belgrave Heights Christian School, while the St Andrews Softball girls team continued their undefeated streak from last season with a 9-4 win over Maranatha Christian School.
Praise God for the return of Inter-School Sport!

VCE HOUSE SWIMMING CARNIVAL
On Friday February 19th we took all of our VCE students out for an afternoon of competition and fun. We are so proud not only with the number of students who participated in the events, but also how much encouragement was being shown between classmates and friends.
This event was a great show of how St Andrews has developed a beautiful sense of community between these students. Some of the highlights were the competitive freestyle races, big bomb competition and the crazy house dress ups! After all was said and done Deakin came out the winners of the day, with Barton in second and Parkes close behind in third place.

Last Friday, we were fortunate enough to have a VCE Swimming Carnival. It was a day of competition, sportsmanship and fun. There were also lots of creative costumes to display house spirit such as Yoshi, Peter Pan and Tinker-bell. I’m sure everyone appreciated the opportunity to relief stress from VCE and it is all thanks to Miss Holland for organising the day. Although we came third overall, I’m super proud of all the students who participated in races and simply giving it a go! Parkes will definitely show some great competition in our next carnival!

Swimming carnival! What a wonderful way to end the school week on Friday afternoon. Whether it was competitive swimming, just going down the water slide, or having fun during the free swim, It was a perfect day and to top it off, Deakin came out on top with a massive victory. Perhaps the highlight of the day was when we got to push Miss Holland in the pool. Everyone got to enjoy dressing up, especially a shout out to the Teletubbies. Overall, it was good fun and a terrific way for us Year 12s, to enjoy our last swimming carnival.

House swimming was a very memorable day for the VCE students, who got to have fun and spend quality time with each other. Other than competitive races, there were many enjoyable activities such as the floaty race and being able to swim freely in the pool. Barton had a great atmosphere of encouragement and enthusiasm, and were proud to achieve second place overall. The day as a whole was a success and helped to build a stronger community between the VCE students. We are extremely grateful to the teachers who helped to organise this event and we are glad that they enjoyed the day too.
