WELCOME BACK

Welcome 2021. With the year it was last year, I think we are all looking forward to a more normal and consistent school year. As our community moves into a COVID Safe Normal some additional supports remain in place. Our community is asked to: 

Practice social distancing, maintain good hygiene, stay home if unwell, get tested, and follow the advice provided. 

Face masks are recommended in schools where social distancing cannot be maintained but must be carried and worn on public transport, increased cleaning of high touch areas continues, and all staff have or are completing COVID Safe Training. 

My name is Nathan Black and I am the Acting Principal while David Browne (Principal) is on leave.  Kylie Morrish (Assistant Principal) is on leave and we said goodbye at the end of 2020 to staff leaving.  Now, I am pleased to welcome new and returning staff to the Red Cliffs Secondary Community: 

Alex Connor, Ben Herman, Brad Vallance, Greg Bartlett, Konattu Sobha, Jamie-Lee Nunn, Jen Chatfield, Michelle Black, Samantha Armstrong. 

Red Cliffs Secondary College, Resilient Compassionate Successful Citizens. These are the college values and what we aspire to for all students. To achieve this, expectations have been set and I challenge you all with the following. 

At Red Cliffs Secondary College; we are learners, we are safe, we are respectful. 

As the first week ends, I want to thank everyone for a fantastic start. Students and staff have returned re-energised and excited for the school year. I look forward to my time working with you all.
