First Call Partner School
We are thrilled to share that Rochester Secondary College has been approved as a First Call Fund Partner School for 2022! As a First Call Fund Partner School we can access FREE tickets to all the performances and workshops in the Arts Centre Melbourne school's program with 100% travel reimbursement. It is our aim to access this funding for as many RSC students as possible.
IWD Art Club Colouring and Tunes
Art Club on Tuesday March 8 (International Women's Day) saw a large group of students come together in the art room to be creative and listen to some tunes. The positive feel in the room was palpable! Find out more about IWD here: https://www.internationalwomensday.com/
Rochybald Prize
We have a number of students entering this year's Rochybald Prize in response to the theme 'Paint us a song.' This is a great opportunity for students to make art and have that work exhibited. We are extremely proud of our Visual Arts students for taking up the opportunity and we wish them well in the competition.
Drawing with light - online exhibition
Students in Drawing with light (8/9 elective) have produced cyanotypes and presented them in an online exhibition called Blue Lens. They have produced the work individually and then presented the exhibition collaboratively. We're incredibly proud of what they've achieved. Enjoy a visit to a (virtual) gallery!
