Summer Sport Finals
We congratulate the 13C, 13D, 13Black and 13Gold Basketball teams for winning their competitions over the weekend. Unfortunately, this year there are no Grand Finals to be played in Basketball, however, still a fantastic achievement.
We also wish the best of luck to our undefeated First XI Cricket team who will be in the Grand Final this Saturday taking on St Augustine’s College.
All the best to our NDJCA and RHBL teams this weekend who will play their Grand Finals.
NSW Diving Age Championships
Anthony del Popolo (Year 9) and Vincent Pappalardo (Year 7) competed in the NSW Age Championships for Diving over the weekend. Both athletes did extremely well. Their results are included below:
- Anthony del Popolo finished 2nd in both the 1m and 3m Springboard competitions and 3rd in the Platform.
- Vincent Pappalardo finish 3rd in the Platform, 3rd in the 3m Springboard, 4th in the 1m Springboard and 1st in the boys/mixed Synchronised Diving for his age group.
Well done to both boys, an incredible achievement.
Winter Sports Trials
Winter Sport Trials will commence on Wednesday 16 March. These trial schedules can be viewed on the sports notice boards, Team App (under Documents Tab) or the College website (under Senior School Fixtures Tab). Please note that due to the inclement weather we have been receiving and possible further inclement weather, Winter Sport Trials are subject to change.
Those boys still engaged in NDJCA or RHBL Finals on 19 March are to continue to meet their summer Co-curricular commitment as a priority, in the knowledge that their absence at the first Winter Trial will in no way see them disadvantaged in terms of team selections.
House and Age Athletics Championships
It has come to my attention that some of the records for the 2022 House Athletics Carnival did not include all updated results from last year. I apologise sincerely to any boys that had their records excluded from the Records in the Program. Please see below an updated list of all Record Holders:
