COVID UPDATE

We're sure we were all looking forward to our return to onsite learning on Thursday this week.  The last thing we wanted was to return to a period of remote and flexible learning.

We would like to thank our whole school community for supporting each other through the week.  We recognise what a huge challenge this was for families on many levels and appreciate your ongoing support.  It was lovely to see our staff, students and families so capably revert to online learning and the participation in Morning Circles, learning times, assemblies and PE and Music Therapy lessons was fabulous.

To do our best to keep our school open the key message is to continue to complete Rapid Antigen Testing every school day, do not send your child to school if they are displaying any symptoms,  and get your child vaccinated.  We really appreciate all your efforts in this regard.

The GV Public Health Unit has been a great support to us.  If you missed their Information Session, we've included it in this newsletter.

Please also remember that we are running a vaccination clinic here tomorrow morning 10am-12pm.  All in our community are welcome. This clinic will be run by Paul Wickham Pharmacy.  More details appear later in this newsletter.

Permission Packs and Updated Student Details

Each year we need to get permission from parents and carers for a range of things including local excursions, photo publication and head lice checks.  If you have not returned these yet, please do so as soon as possible. This will allow us to get our students to enjoy a full range of activities across our community.

We are also updating student details.  It is really important that we have your correct details.  These forms will be sent home soon.
