It has been a wonderful productive start to the year for our Level 3 & 4 classes in their journey of discovering the pleasures that come with growing, harvesting, cooking and sharing fresh delicious food.
Food harvested has been a surplus supply of :

Strawberries
Rhubarb
Tomatoes
Warrigal greens
SIlverbeet
Limes and Lemons
Parsley, Sage, Thyme, Mint, Chives and Mint.

The Stephanie Alexander Garden Kitchen Program offers opportunities to incorporate learning in literacy, numeracy, science and geography. There are also great wellbeing benefits to this program, like sharing the simple pleasures of wholesome, tasty food!
