Wellbeing Wednesday

Friendships help boost our wellbeing and promote our school values

This fortnight we focused on exploring ‘friendly’ behaviours

Group 18 completed activities in small groups, to identify what is a friendly behaviour.  They learnt that saying nice things, patiently waiting for a turn and giving compliments are all friendly behaviours.

Students were then encouraged to display and label friendly behaviours around the school, lots of compliments were gratefully received by staff and students.

To further practise their new skills the students also played games: focusing on building positive relationships, worked on turn taking and encouraging one another, and tried their best to be patient while waiting.
