Year 5/6 Poetry

This week's work sample is provided by Sophie in Year 6.  The learning task was to complete an independent piece of poetry about any topic of her choosing, after reading and analysing different forms of poetry.

We bond together, I’m never alone

We collaborate like we share the same mind

I always have someone there for me

We play, talk, and tell secrets

We share things that we can’t share with others

We hang out when we’re bored

If we’re apart, we will always find a way to get back together

We are always there for each other, no matter what

We always forgive each other

My shoulder to cry on
