Year 12

It great to see many students progressing on their major projects this early in the year. However, some students are yet to get started and time is slipping away if they intend to undertake a large or difficult project. Most students are organised and have ordered materials and parts. Project permission slips need to be signed and returned promptly.

I would appreciate parents discussing with their child, their progress in this regard, to

ensure there are no delays with their projects.

Year 11

Year 11 students are progressing through their tasks. Reports from staff are that everyone is making good progress in their activities.

Automotive students have been working on a variety of skill sets. So far, this includes adjusting tappets, wheel bearings and cooling systems.

In Engineering, students have completed the Toolbox and are starting on their Folding Shovels.

Construction students are making Step Stools, developing skills with a variety of hand and power tools and are already getting close to starting their major projects.

In Furnishing some students have nearly completed their Small Cabinets. On completing this project, they will need to start planning their major projects.
