Year 11 English SACs are taking place over the course of this week. Good luck to all VCE students in their first English assessment for the year.
Well done to the Year 11 Physical Education classes for two great days out at BioLAB in Deakin Waurn Ponds Campus. Students undertook a range of activities, engaging in biomechanics, physiology & strength and conditioning.
Back in the classroom, the PE classes worked on labelling muscles by using sticky notes on each other.
This week the VCAL/VM students have been training as baristas for our upcoming school café.
On Monday we completed the theory of the course and on Tuesday we learned how to pull coffee shots and texturise milk.
On Thursday we put our training to work and asked all our staff and teachers if they wanted a coffee delivered to their classrooms. We had 50 orders for coffees! We have put together feedback forms so we can understand what went well and things we can improve on.
Thank you so much to everyone for their support. We loved delivering coffees to you all and can’t wait to make it a regular service at WHC.

On Friday 17 March, Year 12 students will be participating in a ‘Year 12 Wellbeing Day’ where students will engage in a range of activities including presentations, sports and competitions, guest speakers and more.
We look forward to celebrating our Year 12 cohort and building some skills that will support them across their final year of schooling!
