Prep/1
In music today our Prep/1 class used clapping sticks, two-toned wood blocks, finger cymbals and xylophones to add beat and sound effects to a playing of Hickory Dickory Dock. They are learning correct use of instruments and the difference between 'play position' and 'rest position'. They have also learnt the term 'dynamics' to describe the different volume changes in music . In music we use the whole spectrum of volume from ppp (very, very quiet) all the way to fff (very, very loud). What fun!
Choir
Choir is open for all year levels to join. It will be open to preps shortly. Choir rehearsals will be held each Thursday until the 15th March, at which time they will revert back to each Wednesday. Rehearsals are during lunchtime. It's great to see so many students from all year levels getting involved.

New Instruments
Towards the end of 2022, thanks to our donations recieved from your points allocation at Foodworks, we have been able to spend $300 adding to our Ukulele and Xylophone supplies.
