Junior Swimming Carnival | wrap up and results
We launched into the year with our 3-6 swimming carnival held during Week 1. What a day we had. So much cheering, colour, participation and so many smiles all day!
Thank you to our wonderful parent cohort and staff who helped out on the day, the carnival could not go ahead without you all.
All students who participated on the day should be congratulated and proud of their efforts - the participation level and enthusiasm was so awesome to see. The high participation level contributed greatly to the overall shield placings with points being closer than what they have been in many years!

Term 1 sports
Our junior sport rosters have all now started for the term. We have teams participating in flippa ball, soccer and tennis.
Our soccer teams kicked off last Thursday in very warm conditions, but it didn't stop the enjoyment of getting out and having a kick!
Pictured below is one of our Year 1/2 teams - if those smiles are anything to go by, they are definitely winners!
L-R: Belle, Lola, Amelia, Valentina, Evie, Spencer and Juliette.

Year 3/4 JSSATIS Soccer
Congratulations to the Year 3/4 JSSATIS Soccer team who demonstrated fantastic sportsmanship during their recent match.
Pictured above: Sophie J, Charlotte, Sophie V and Isabelle, with Hamish (Isabelle's brother).
The game was played in stifling 29 degree heat and despite the challenging conditions and all cards being stacked against them - including having just four players on the field - the girls decided early on that forfeiting was not an option.
Relying on pure passion, grit and perseverance, the team put in a tremendous effort without a sub-break. Although they didn't win, they managed to keep the goal score close until the final siren.
Special thanks to Rebecca and Hamish, for their enthusiasm and encouragement as step-in coaches.
