College Board

Our current St Mary's College Board members are Daniel Marr, Ryan Sharp, Lauren di Palma, Jonathon Brimfield, Sister Majella Kelly, Father Peter Addicoat, Ana Zardo-Cox and Melinda Anderson. Rounding out the Board are Principal, Damian Messer and Director, Business and Operations, Stuart Calvert, supported by Lisa O’Brien. The Board comprises a broad representation of the wider College community and meets monthly with a focus on contributing to the school's strategic direction and governance. 

At its first meeting of the school year last week, the Board was delighted to endorse the College budget, which recognises a sustainable financial position in a tough climate. The Board was also briefed on an exciting approach to learning experiences that the College Leadership Team has planned for 2023, based on the pillars of Positive Education. 

You will often see members of the College Board volunteering at our school and at social events coordinated by the Presentation Families, including this evening's Welcome Families BBQ. We do hope to see many of our school community at the BBQ. Thank you to all the volunteer families, students and staff involved in the organising and running of tonight's event. The Welcome Families BBQ is a great way to connect and engage with the College and welcome new members to our SMC community. We are proud to be a school that is focused on inclusion and hospitality.

On behalf of the SMC Board, we are feeling very excited and positive about the 2023 school year and look forward to representing our school community in supporting the College to achieve its educational, spiritual and social objectives.
