Champagnat Trust Sports Lunch

In 2022, the Champagnat Trust “Sports Lunch” celebrates its 18th year. Held annually at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, the Sports Lunch welcomes over 1,000 guests to an afternoon of excitement, generosity and community spirit to raise money for the Champagnat Trust Bursaries.

2022 Event Details

Date: Friday 20 May 2022 

Time: 11:00am – 4:00pm 

Location: Great Hall Brisbane Exhibition and Convention Centre, Glenelg Street, South Brisbane 

Tickets: $225.00 each     I     Table of 10 $2,250.00 

Inclusion: Two-course lunch with 5-hour beverage package

 

What does the event involve?

The lunch is an all-inclusive premium ticketed event. Tickets include a two-course lunch and five-hour beverage package, kindly sponsored by Oatley Fine Wine Merchants and Stone & Wood. Guests will hear from a past bursary recipient as well as a panel of sporting superstars including David Campese, Kevin Sheedy and Brad Hogg hosted by Old Boy and Patron John Eales. A live auction and raffle items give guests the perfect opportunity to support the wonderful event. All funds raised from the event will go to the Champagnat Trust Bursary program.

 

How you can help?

Our committee has developed a number of opportunities for you and/or your business to help us reach our fundraising goals. Please do not hesitate to contact us as we are more than open to negotiation and happy to amend or create alternative sponsorship packages that best suit you!

 

Major Sponsorship - $5,000+

  • The company will be acknowledged as a Major Sponsor on the Event Invitation and in all correspondence with guests and potential guests by email as well as on the event booking page.
  • The company will be acknowledged as a Major Sponsor each week in the College newsletter, on social media (dedicated post with description of business) and in all print media prior and post the event.
  • The company will be acknowledged as a Major Sponsor by the MC at the event as well as on the big screens (full individual slide) as well as in the event program.
  • The company will have the opportunity to place company collateral on each table.

 Platinum Table Sponsorship - $5,500

  • The company will be acknowledged as a Platinum Table Sponsor each week in the College newsletter, on social media (dedicated post with description of business) and in all print media prior and post the event.
  • The company will be acknowledged as a Platinum Table Sponsor by the MC at the event as well as on the big screens (slide with other Platinum Table Sponsors) as well as in the event program.
  • The company will receive 12 x tickets to the Lunch including an invitation to the pre-event VIP function, three-course lunch, five-hour Premium Beverage Package, a gift for each guest and a table in a premium location.

Minor Sponsorship - $1,000+

  • The company will be acknowledged as a Minor Sponsor each week in the College newsletter, on social media (inclusion with other minor sponsors) and in all print media prior and post the event.
  • The company will be acknowledged as a Minor Sponsor by the MC at the event as well as on the big screens (slide with other Minor Sponsors) as well as in the event program.

Sponsor an Auction Prize

Sponsor the cost of an auction prize. Your company will be acknowledged as the donor of the prize on social media prior to and post the event. Your company will also be acknowledged by the MC during the Live Auction, on the big screens (slide with auction sponsors during Live Auction) and in the event program

 

Donate a Raffle Prize

The committee would be incredibly appreciative of raffle prize donations for the event. Raffle prize donors will be acknowledged each week in the College newsletter, on social media (inclusion with other raffle donors). Raffle donors will also be acknowledged on the big screen on the day (slide with other raffle donors) and by the MC when prizes are drawn on the day.
