WAYANG KULIT INDONESIAN SHADOW PUPPETRY

Year 9 Indonesian students started the term learning about giving directions. In pairs, students created conversations around asking and giving directions to various places of interest. They practised their lines and presented their role-plays to the class using wayang kulit shadow puppets and a puppet stage.

“It is so fun using the shadow puppets to present the role-plays”, Paige G

“This is a great start to Term two learning. I’m looking forward to more fun ways of learning”, Jakson B

“I enjoy working with my friends to write role-plays and using the wayang kulit puppets to present as it makes me remember my lines easier”, Steph C

The year 9 students have passionately embraced their language learning and have been working consistently well. Bagus sekali!
