PARENT / CARER INFORMATION: SOCIAL MEDIA, DIGITAL AND NETWORK ACCESS AT MATER DEI

At Mater Dei Catholic College we support the rights of all members of the school community to be provided with and engage in a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment. This extends to the use of digital tools and is underpinned by our expectation of safe and responsible behaviour of all members of the school community.

The College does not utilise social media for learning and accordingly, the College network does not permit access on the school network to social media sites. Please be aware that The College does not block mobile data access, including data enabled phones or devices that your child may have for personal use.

If your child has access data enabled devices, please ensure that your child understands and knows about their personal responsibility to use this data responsibly and legally. This includes those students who are sharing data.
